Attention:  Skamania EMS will be holding a special commissioners meeting on May 16th, 2012 at 7:30pm.  This meeting is being held to interview potential candidates for the Skamania PHD #1 open position.  The location of the meeting will be at the Skamania EMS station located at 253 First Street, Stevenson, WA.

Skamania County EMS is a mix of paid staff and volunteers. Our EMS Department provides emergency medical services and rescue to the citizens and visitors of Skamania County.  We do advanced emergency medical care and rescue for 1,672 square miles of the most scenic and diverse landscape in the world.  We respond to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area and an abundance of wilderness areas.  We provide trail rescue and technical rescue in a wide variety of terrains.
